On June 10th, 2020, our family received the devastating diagnosis that our mother, Jayne Lynde, has stage 4 Glioblastoma.
Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive and deadliest type of cancerous brain tumour. The average life expectancy after diagnosis of GBM is 15-18 months. Brain Cancer research is dangerously underfunded.
Brain Cancer Canada is one of the only national charities dedicated to raising funds for cancerous brain tumours.
This organization is 100% volunteer-based and all the proceeds are directed to advancing current research and further improving treatment options for the deadliest types of brain cancer.
For these reasons, we strongly support this charity and firmly believe in their efforts to bring change.
We ride for Jayne and for all those who have been impacted by this disease. We ride for courage and for hope that one day all brain cancers are curable.
Please join us in supporting Brain Cancer Canada and their tireless efforts in beating this disease.
“A Future Without Brain Cancer is Possible”
Over a year has passed since Jayne’s last treatment. Up to this day, she continues to receive a stable diagnosis from her doctors at her regular tri-monthly MRI checkups.
