This hockey season, the Erin-Hillsburgh Devils U-11 BB team initiated a fundraiser in memory of Danny Barber and his courageous fight against brain cancer. Devils teams in all divisions wore helmet stickers with his favourite saying "undiculous" this season in his memory.
Danny Barber served the Hillsburgh community in many capacities, but our Devils remember him best from his time spent as an employee at the Hillsburgh Arena. From CHIPS to U-18 and beyond, his presence at the arena will be missed.
We honoured Danny's "Undiculous" life by raising awareness and funds to fight brain cancer. In all, the team donated $1380 to Brain Cancer Canada in Danny's memory.
